We are looking for an IT License Coordinator for our client in the traffic industry. The role of IT License Coordinator involves providing daily support to the business on issues related to software licenses. The work includes management and administration of licenses as well as advice on license holdings, validity periods, renewals, cost structures, and other license-related questions. This may involve assisting different departments with information on how many licenses are available for a specific software, when they expire, and what the renewal process looks like.

License management includes both traditional on-premise products and licenses associated with various cloud-based services and vendors.

Please note that the assignment does not include responsibility or expertise regarding how the software is used, but the focus is on license administration and license management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Answering license-related questions from the business

• Gathering and comparing quotes for software licenses and discussing costs with the business

• Ordering licenses through the organization's license partner

• Collaborating closely with a license specialist on various license-related issues

• Continuously working on following up and structuring license information

Requirements:

• At least two (2) years of documented experience in license work within a larger organization

• Experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) and a good understanding of the entire license lifecycle, including purchasing, follow-up, compliance, and optimization

• Good knowledge of ServiceNow and experience of how ServiceNow is integrated and interacts with other systems

• Very good experience in Excel, including handling large datasets, analysis, follow-ups, and reporting

• Ability to analyze license data and identify areas for improvement

• Good communication skills and experience collaborating with different parts of the organization

• A meticulous and structured approach to ensure that license information is accurate, up-to-date, and traceable
